TIME AND SPACE LINES
Just as the concentric rings which circle the round shapes of the Earth, Sun, and Moon symbolize Space and measure our movement through it, Time is also represented by a continuous shaped line that runs most of the length of each wall. Made of ceramic and mirror, the Time Line starts out rather dark, geometric, and higher at the Earth ends, becomes wavy and then less wavy along the central portion, and comes in lower, lighter in color, and quite streamlined when it reaches the elestial bodies. This gives the illusion of increasing speed and elevation as the traveler "approaches escape velocity". This line treatment also has the reverse effect of deceleration and increasing stature for those in arrival/reentry mode.
